These lists often take time to compile. While I have many of these songs in my library or can find them on Project Playlist, I've sometimes have had to acquire them through various sites like Yahoo Music, Rhapsody, Wal-Mart and Amazon.com. Or, I've had to take them off existing CD's. Not that I mind that because once I've paid for them, I figure they are mine. Believe me, I don't purchase any tunes that I don't care for all that much, even if it is representative of an artist's works that I do like. I only buy those that I would want to add to my collection in the first place.
Thus, if some of my Playlists are shorter than others, it's because I won't shell-out money for particular songs or I haven't found them on Project Playlist or I can't or won't buy them for download in a particular week if I don't have them myself. As you can see, it isn't a process that takes a short amount of time to produce, and at times, some money is involved. Not much and not always, but some.
The other reason is because I personally feel that if someone makes a request, the least he or she can do is to show up and comment on the list. I'm not looking for praise by any means, but if you want it, at least acknowledge it.
That's the end of my rant.
